Im A Celeb star shocked as parents of daughters boyfriend plead guilty to drug offences

Nigel Farage, one of the camp mates on this year's I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has revealed he was "shocked" to learn that the parents of his youngest daughter's boyfriend have pleaded guilty to drug offences following a home raid.

The 59 year old's daughter Izzy, 18, has been in a long term relationship with her partner Jack McKenna, who is also 18 for two years. The pair even headed out to Australia together while Izzy's father was competing for the title of King of the Jungle.

Following the news that Darren McKenna and Lacey Tilley, who are the parents of Jack, admitted to two counts each of conspiracy to supply class A drugs, Nigel has now spoken out about the matter. He told The Sun: "As a family, we're all in shock over this."

However, Nigel also offered his support to Jack, telling the outlet that he's "a nice lad with no record of any kind with the police or any problems at school."

He added that Jack, nor anyone, can help where they come from, but that it's clearly a very difficult situation for him right now.

Nigel expanded on his comments about Jack and the situation while speaking to the publication, labelling himself as the "least snobby person on Earth." He said that everyone comes from different backgrounds, and that Izzy's boyfriend deserves just as much of a chance as anyone.

He then added that Jack and his daughter are a great match, and despite them being so young, he thinks that they're a good couple.

To conclude his statement, Nigel insisted that he didn't want this situation to affect Jack or his future, nor will he be judgemental towards him in any way.

In terms of the offence, the Met Police reportedly raided Darren McKenna and Lacey Tilley's ยฃ500,000 home in Bromley, South East London back in early October. It's also thought that Jack's grandmother's house was also raided by the police.

Apparently, Izzy and Zack have both stayed and spent time at each of the properties.

Meanwhile, Nigel explained that he was aware that Jack would regularly stay at his grandmother's residence due to some home issues. However, he reiterated that he had no idea what Jack's parents were involved in.

OK! has contacted Nigel Farage's reps for comment.

Darren McKenna and Lacey Tilley are due to appear at Woolwich Crown Court in South East London in January. Until the date, Jack's father will be held on remand at HMP Belmarsh, a Category A prison.
